Pay Rate: $12 - $40 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
JOB SUMMARY:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, steam, and refrigerated commercial foodservice equipment, residential appliances.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial and residential HVAC systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this exceptional career opportunity you must have at least the following:
- Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in a mechanical or electrical job, or comparable civilian job experience
- MUST be able to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Excellent mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude.
- Accredited High School diploma, Business or trade school or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in food service and equipment repair or related field.
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Able to travel and attend training schools
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Residential/Commercial HVAC experience a plus
Refrigeration Service Technicians also required to have:
- Universal EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certificate or Type 2
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting 50-75 lbs. with or without assistance
- Extensive walking 3-5 miles / day
- Extensive driving 5-6 hours/day
- Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
- Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
- OT as required
