Veterans’ Day Freebies for 2013

Dozens of companies show their support of U.S. active military and veterans on and around Veterans’ Day with free meals and other services on Veterans Day. Make sure to have your military id’s with you and check out all of the terms and conditions. Also call ahead since some offers are only valid at “participating locations.” A list of our favorite Veterans’ Day freebies are listed below. Breakfast

  1. Denny’s: Enjoy all the pancakes you want, on the house, from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.
  2. Einstein Bros. Bagels/Noah’s New York Bagels: Free bagel and a schmear of cream cheese (or another topping) from 5:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  3. Starbucks: Free tall brewed coffees (all day for veterans, active duty military, and their spouces.)
  4. Bob Evans: Free all-you-can-eat hotcakes.
  5. Bakers Square: FREE breakfast. Choose from Buttermilk Pancakes, Belgian Waffle, or three slices of French toast

 

Lunch / Dinner

  1. Hooter’s: Free meal, worth up to $10.99, with any drink purchase.
  2. Olive Garden: Free meal from the Veterans Day menu. Any family members dining with you get 10 percent off their bill as part of Military Family Appreciation Month.
  3. Outback Steakhouse: Free bloomin’ onion and beverage.
  4. Sizzler: Free lunch.
  5. TGIFridays: Free lunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
  6. Champps Americana: Free burger and waffle fries.
  7. Bar Louie: Free meal worth up to $12 November 10-11.
  8. Applebee’s: Free meal from Veterans Day menu.
  9. Chili’s: Free meal from Veterans Day menu.
  10. Carrabba’s: Free Appetizer for Veterans Day (Monday, November 11, 2013)
  11. McCormick & Schmick’s: Free Meal from Veterans’ Day Menu (Sunday, November 10, 2013. Dine in Only)
  12. Max and Erma’s: Free Best Cheeseburger in America Combo meal (participating locations only. Check your local Max and Erma’s to see if they are honoring this offer)

 

Non Food

  1. Great Clips: Free haircut.
  2. National Parks Service: Free admission to all National Parks for everyone, November 9-11, in honor of Veterans Day
  3. Massage Envy: 1-hour massage (Participating Massage Envy locations in the Washington DC, Maryland, and northern Virginia region are offering a complimentary to active military, veterans and spouses.)
  4. Meineke Car Care: Free oil change
  5. Sport Clips: Free haircuts (Participating locations only.)
  6. Free Night Lodging at B&B’s Around the Country: Free nights stay at over 200 participating B&B’s and inns around the country on Sunday, November 10 and Monday, November 11, 2013.
  7. Delta Sonic: Free Car Wash and Oil Change at Delta Sonic
  8. $1.99 Any Garment Cleaning: Free Dry Cleaning up to10 pieces of clothing
  9. Marcus Theaters: Free Screening of Honor Flight (participating locations only)
